The Computational Genomics Lab of Adebali Group at Sabanci University (adebalilab.org) focuses on research activities in bioinformatics and computational/statistical tools for understanding genomics. These involve comparative genomics, mathematics of sequence analysis, phylogenetics, co-evolution, NGS analysis, etc.
OFFER DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:
The potential applicants are expected to have a strong background in programming in any language, including but not limited to Python and R. We are also interested in candidates with an applied mathematics background and an interest in biological problems. Adebali Lab is well-equipped in this area with computational resources, grad students, and researchers. Candidates should have strong motivation and
team spirit with enthusiasm to bring scientific questions to successful conclusions.
