MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 opportunities at the Swedish Defence University

The Swedish Defence University (SEDU) wellcomes applications for MSCA PF 2024 in a number of specialised subject areas, within its 6 Departments:
Department of Systems Science for Defence and Security
Department of War Studies
Department of Leadership and Command & Control
Department of Military History
Department of International and Operational Law
Department of Political Science.
Candidates are selected in 2 steps:
Step 1: Deadline for submitting your application (as specified below) to SEDU, by e-mail to the Grants office, at [email protected] is 15 April 2024.
SEDU then selects a shortlist of candidates, which are contacted for further discussion and identification of suitable supervisors.
Step 2: Mid May 2024: SEDU decides on a group of candidates (with identified supervisors) which receives full support by the SEDU Grants Office in preparing the proposals in view of the September 2024 deadline.
The material to submit for the step 1 deadline 15 April 2024 include:
A. 3-page draft project description, and
B. 5-page (max.) Curriculum Vitae including a list of publications.
The 3-page Project description should specify:
1. Name, PhD date, title and current affiliation
2. Which of the themes or keywords in this add that it addresses
3. Briefly: How your PhD and previous work make you suitable to pursue the project
4. How you fulfill the mobility and eligibility criteria of the MSCA PF 2024 call.
5. Brief account of the proposed project, the research question, the state of the art in the field, the novelty of the project, and how it aligns with the theme/keyword in 2 above, and why SEDU would be right place to pursue the project.
